The art world and technology

I can not believe what has happened in the recent years with technology and art. I am taken back by some of the coolest looking art that was generated by a computer through the eyes of many common people but and a big BUT, I find institutionalized art, you know the type that someone has to be considered an artist by their artist peers, I find that type of art some what boorish and insulting due to the nature of the human sprit and the concept that everyone is an artist.
Well I ran across this little number Rossellini probes insect sex in phone-films and thought ok I met her a few times and she was really nice but she was an institutional artist, a European one at that and some of her work, like others in these modern times are only for the ‘artists’ who think no one can create except ‘artists’. So I read the article and I… well you got to read this to really get what I am driving at…. So much out there to entertain ourselves with, but this is close to…. well…. read the article.

Would the words you're groping for be "prurient interest"?
At least you know that if reincarnation exists, you'd rather not come back as a bumblebee, though. :p

As far as computer generated art goes, I'm a Magic Eye kind of guy. When my kids were young we would check out Magic Eye books at the library. We even own two. That stuff blows me away!

Moot I used to drive my husband crazy with those Magic Eye pictures. He couldn't see them! I believe he's seen only one in all these years LOL

Yeah, my son had problems when he was young seeing them. It took a couple of years. He sure did get frustrated. When he saw his first one he was amazed!
