A big thanks to everyone that gave me advice on the fl70 I purchased. After reading for hours on here many old posts I found my air leaks LOL "soapy water and 0 degree dont work to good together LOL" But I did it LOL. ok 2 air lines on my compressor leaking, and the air guage on dash leaked. after I fixed those leaks the air sets well and the shush sound all the time is gone. Since it is so cold i am paying the dealer $150 to service the air dryer just to be on safe side.
I am also having the valves adjusted at dealer for $200 I also said why not and am having them do a full service and check adjustments of my allison auto tranny for $250
I changed the front shocks and am having yoko 617 installed for steers "only yoko they had" but I read some pretty good reviews on the 617 so why not beets the heck out of messed up steers .
I am following gregs advice which is darn good advice for me to learn the air system of the truck and I have the best I can being that it is 5 degrees average last few days here in Peoria, IL . Thanks Greg that was a great pointer. I would mess with air dryer but I don't have a cleaned off place to get under the truck and well I am better off for the extra $80 expense to let the dealer do it the first time for me. but next time i am gonna do it myself when weather is warmer.
Thanks again everybody and thanks to EO for such a great board that helps us all out when we have a ? or a rant or a rave or just a place to hang out.
