Texas Border Closings

We received a message last night from NLM that the Texas borders were closing for commercial vehicles from Friday night until some opening 9 AM Sunday morning. By 4 PM Sunday, all the borders would be back open and to prepare for lots of freight coming over.

Were any of you aware of this? Anybody stuck in Laredo wondering why there is no freight?

Loads were going out last night but they weren't NLM loads.
We had a truck load out today from Brownsville, TX but not sure whether that shipment came over the border last night or today?

Probably freight there since they didn't close until very late. We had a truck pick up in Phar today.

If I don't get a load out of Seguin tomorrow I'll head down to grab all the loads that are going to have to be expedited because of the border closing.

Not sure on Sequin on a Sunday, but there should be stuff coming out of Laredo or Eagle Pass.

we got 2 trucks out of there yesterday also.

I heard it was going to be closed until Tue., in any case, there should be enough freight to load trucks until then. Wouldn't want to be there Wed/Thur...
