I heard this last night..to me her rants while wrong were not enough to get her suspended..Yea she is an idiot, but what do you expect from a union indoctorated public school teacher that is put in the position to indoctorate the kids to the left socialist agenda.....

I like the kid too. I'm not sure I'd go as far as suspended either but she definitely needs some re-education herself on propriety, policies and curriculum.

The Teacher could have most definitely handled that better.

My thoughts too when I listened to it yesterday.............

Of course the Teacher should not have expressed her personal beliefs upon the students when it came to Obawa, of which she sort of did, but she also should not have been expressing her "Opinions" between Obawa and Romney, of which she was clearly doing. That IS a form of trying to teach her "Political" beliefs upon her students, or indoctrination as many call it.

On the other hand....she had NO control of that classroom. Anyone else hear that one student say he was going to "Call His Dad", and then hear the Teacher tell him to "Go Ahead, Call Your Dad"??

Tell you what......BOTH sides were in the wrong during this whole ordeal. Where did those students THINK they were at that day???? Over at Tommys house without his parents not home arguing about who was the Dungeon Master and who was not???? If I had a Son who "Called" me during School Hours trying to complain about his Teacher, first words out of my mouth would probably be "Shut Your Mouth Son and listen to your Teacher", and then would probably take his phone away during school hours from then on out. If it turned out there was a problem with what the Teacher was trying to "Teach" my son, IE, "Her" Political Ideology, that would be an issue Me, the Mrs, that Teacher, the Principal, and the School Board would be discussing, Period.

She rationalized that it's OK to talk trash about Romney because he's merely running for president, while on the other hand Obama IS the president, so you can't say anything against him - it would be disrespectful. Without even realizing it, the Social Studies teacher was teaching Fascism. And doing an excellent job, I must say.

Are you sure that she did not realize it? It DOES fit the overall agenda of our Public Indoctrination system and the tone of today's Federal Government to a "T"

Quite Possibly she didn't realize it herself either. Obawa was presented as, and portrayed as the "Messiah" every single day for 2 years by 90% of the News Organizations, both print and airwaves, leading up to when he was elected. Then they continued it for 2 more years after that.

Many Ignorant people "Bought" it into it too......Case in Point here. Some were flat-out Brainwashed....and probably don't realize it. Again....Case in point here.

Anybody here ever see that 1 hour episode of 20/20 (I Believe) when Diane Sawyer was allowed to go into North Korea to report on well N Korea was doing? (Propaganda Piece) In part of that Episode Diane was in an "All Girls" school interviewing a Teacher in front of her class. All the Girls in that classroom looked to be around 12-13-14 years old. Diane tried to talk with the Class about the "Glitz and Glamour", the Beauty America has to offer. Diane then layed like a "Vogue" magazine down on the Desk of 1 of those school girls to try to show her "Beauty" in America. Without batting an eye, that little girl pushed that magazine off her desk and let it fall onto the floor.

That right there was a clear example of "Brainwashing and Indoctrination" where they have been taught that EVERYTHING in America is Evil. That little girl didn't even think about what it was in front of her. It was from America, it was EVIL, and she wanted nothing to do with it.

SAME thing happened with a LOT of people all over this country when it comes to their beliefs towards Obawa. The Teacher in the recording came close to being almost "Shrilling" towards her students in their discussion that Obawa is "Just a Man and Not a God" issue.

And that is what seriously needs to be overcome here in America, Period.

Well, I'm not 100% sure, of course, but if you listen to her, she certainly sounds like she believes what she is saying. She is supporting her position by using examples which aren't exactly factually accurate, like the "fact" that people were arrested for saying bad things about Bush, because he was the president, and if he hadn't been the president it wouldn't have mattered. And if you say something bad about the president it's slander. She was trying to make the case for her stance, but she wasn't using indoctrination techniques like plainly and factually stating things regardless of the truth, she was using the passion of belief to make her case.

I think Brisco nailed it - she really believes what she's saying. Whether it's because she's been hoodwinked by the media, I'm not sure, but I do think it's played a part in it. The fact that she is black, and so is Obama, is also probably clouding her passion. It happens all the time with all parties where someone will look the other way at their favorite politician's flaws and shortcomings, dismissing them as unimportant, or even refusing to see them at all. Their man can do no wrong. Clinton lovers, Bush lovers, Gingrich, lovers, Paul lovers, we've all see countless examples of that. There are certainly Obama lovers with the same outlook. Black people having and showing unconditional blind love and support for the first black president is certainly a natural thing to do. It's natural to rally around one of your own. Couple the racial passion with the political loyalty and you have people who are quite fanatical, akin to religious zealots, in their fervor over Obama, just like this teacher is.

She was teaching by example, without even realizing it. I think.
