I too get tired of this stuff. I look around see people dressed better than I am driving a newer car than I do collecting aid. Yesterday, I don't know what kind of mood I was in but as typical as a truck stop is, I got the normal 4 or 5 people giving me the same story about having no gas and no money, need gas, my wife and kids are out front and we need a ride...whatever.

I don't mind helping people who help themselves, like try to find work or a way out but it is the ones who refuse to take anything and want specific help that I don't want to help.

One day I got off at Russel exit on I94, there was a guy there with a sign "Need Food Please help, God Bless". I just came from McDonald's and had a couple cheeseburgers and a big mac (the fries were gone, yum..), so I stopped to make my turn and I rolled the window down and said here is some food. "no man I needs money, you gots money", I told him all I got is food, take it if you want it.. and I got the same response so I drove on. I won't tell you what happened later.

i am all for helping ... SOME.... poeple out.......
but i also know that these people ...... at the truck stops wanting money for ahhhhh some story they give u .... are there every day . telling the same story. they live there......
somewhere.........
and them people holding them i need food signs......... heh......
i see them getting out of there cars under a birdge or something near by and then they go stand there.........
some carnival owners i once knew...... tried hiring some of them .. so called down and out folks.... holding there hand out signs......
the carnival was gonna give them a job.... a place to sleep and showers.... ( as they had living quaters for emplyess) and some income. and could NOT get them to work.
now whats wrong with this picture.

That's ok OVM, anything can be cured!!! That is also the great thing about this country, you have the right of choice. You can choice to shoot or not, to be armed or not. Freedom is a wild, wooley and wonderful thing! May we always enjoy it!!! Freedom should be cherished above all. Never give up even one freedom for ANY reason. I know I won't, ever! Did you play hockey? That's what we did growing up, at least when we were not hunting or fishing. Layoutshooter

Geez every Canadian kid has played hockey..i'd be an unpatroitic thing!!! I did fish alot too....Funny thing about ice fishing I never did catch any ice???

I never caught any ice when I was ice fishing either. I did catch a bunch when steelhead fishing when it was 15 degrees F!! Fell in once when it was that cold. Caught a bunch of ice that day!!! Layoutshooter
