If anyone wants to join my Sprint Framily send me a PM.
It's a good deal, it's $50 per month for the 1st person to join me, and for every additional person that is added, the bill is decreased $5 per month for all of us. Unlimited talk and text. 1GB Data or upgrade to 3GB for $10 or unlimited for $20. With seven members in the Framily the plan would only be $25 per month for all of us.

I HAD a Sprint nationwide unlimited data plan, but had to switch 2 years ago. Sprint sent me a letter stating that unlimited data meant unlimited data on the Sprint network only. And if I continued to use it they would charge me additionally per MB off network!
I switched to Verizon.
Hopefully Sprint doesn't do that anymore or has a larger network.

Well, as soon as the wife and I end up at home together, we are officially done with Tmobile, im sure glad I bought her a prepaid Verizon phone for a backup as she has full signal on her Tmobile phone, which is roaming on iwireless (a Tmobile subsidiary even) and cant call, text or use any data. Only 8 days into the new billing cycle, she ran out of roaming data, when you are off Tmobiles network, you are only allowed a certain amount of data, in her case that's only 50mb, which is nothing.

We both use the Sylectus app on our phones so we can be tracked, but that is useless if we don't have any data roaming.

I called them, and the person I talked to was nice, but in the end he said I was best to port my numbers out as the most roaming data I could get is 200mb, and that would cost another $50 a month.

I don't understand your data usage and Tmob response, I just spent four weeks in Canada on Tmob, roamed the whole time and used 563 Mb of roaming data and ZERO charges, only time I got charged in fact was non wi-fi voice calls at $0.20 a minute, 469 minutes for $52.80 was it, again all data and texts and wi-fi calls were included no charge. I am on a family plan, $80 a month for two lines, so my line is $40 a month PLUS I added 5 Gb of additional data for $20 a month, unless I go into Canada and make voice calls, that is it $60 a month plus taxes and fees of course. With my current Tmob plan no roaming on the data either, once I use my 5 Gb it does throttle the speed to 2G, but no overages are charged.

I also had a work phone on AT&T, no real difference in coverage areas AND the bill was huge, like several hundred bucks!

YMMV, but I think Tmob is a pretty good deal overall.

I don't have t-mobile, but att throttles my data when I get off their network, but they don't to my co-owners phone and we have a family plan together. Go figure. They sent me a text one month and said I used too much off network data and they killed it. The next month they gave it back but only a few mb. On the plus side my phone now tells me if I'm in att network or someone else's.

International data is included and unlimited, but domestic roaming data is not, after you get to a certain point according to your plan, you just get cut off. Well they do send you a text message when you consume 80% of your roaming allowance, and another when you are out of data.

Well, never experienced that, I have a Simple Choice plan and I believe it doesn't chop you off like that, even roaming, maybe I just never roam enough with data to find out?

Both of our phones are on the 3gb simple choice plans, which only includes 50mb of domestic roaming data, if you are only a 1gb plan, you get a whole 10mb of roaming data.

Have had Verizon since 2007, switched from sprint, 4 smart phones, 2 jet packs, and a tab. Tired of the cost for the data, got a hotspot from T-mobile.
Unlimited data, once over 9 G throttles back to 3g. Have been checking the coverage, pretty good. The advantage... If the Internet don't work, turn off the wifi, now back on Verizon. More everything plan, Verizon cell reception, unlimited calling, text, and pic messaging. Just sometimes have to wait on data. But the Verizon data is there for the sylectus, if T-Mobile don't work. T-mobile uses A AT&T network, and extends on both sprint, and verizon, but sometimes in the extended mode, shows reception, but can't connect to servers.
Hope this helps.

I dont doubt the fact that verizone does indeed have the best coverage, although the price is a killer...
