Super Truck

The tour is starting to wind down. This week on Thursday and Friday the truck will be at Landstar BCO days in Rockford IL. On Saturday it will be in Perrysburg at Tri States drivers appreciation day. So if you are in the area stop in.

Then the next showing will be at the Expo in Wilmington on July 27th and 28th where some lucky individual will have the key that unlocks the door. Make plans to come to the Expo and register for the drawing.

I have driven the truck about 10,000 miles and displayed it at 40 locations. It just cruises along with no strain getting about 10 MPG.

Will you be writing anything about your travels and experiences? I envy the opportunity you had. It got you face to face with a number of people at a number of carriers, and with expediters on the road too. I think folks would be very intersted to hear about what you learned and observed while on tour in the Super Truck.

Checked out the truck and found the inside color too glaring! That would have to go. Also, a bit disappointed, guess I didn't figure it was a used tractor, apparently stretched into a straight. It would require a lot of modification to provide a nice sleeper compartment (probably have to take it to Double Eagle or somewhere. Couldn't they at least switch out the driver's seat?

Yes I have been keeping a journal of interesting people and events that I have seen. Heard some very upbeat stories and some sad ones.
