Strange!!!!

That was just VERY strange, and kinda scary.

I am sitting at the "J" in Pembroke, NY. I was looking out my mirror and seen a rather, thin, tall, man, dressed in all, light brown scrubs, near my truck.

I thought it was just some one walking by and did not see him again.

THEN, a few minutes later I seen him crawl out from UNDER my truck. I seen him leave and head towards the front of the "J". I don't know where he went, never seen him again.

I did not see anything wrong under the truck, but what is going on?

Should I call police? Lost on this one.:confused:

Odd behaviour indeed.

IMO you should report it, even if you don't think anything has been tampered with under your truck .... next time someone may not be so lucky.

Or this person may need medical help ... either way better safe than sorry.

WHAT? You're the spy / tactical operative! You should be telling us what to do in that situation! Seriously though I would call the cops...

I reported it to the store manager. I was not sure about the cops, he could have just dropped something. I did not want to jump to unsubstantiated conclusions. I am not CNN.

I was NEVER a "tactical operative" either, don't know where you got that from! :p

I spent the majority of my career countering strategic targets.

Now, if when I start the truck and it blows up, you can pass this on to the cops. LOL!

Nope, this dude was real. About 6' 4", 150LBS, medium dark skin black man, short hair. Wearing brown "scrub" type clothing. I did not notice his shoes. Did not get a good look at his face, I would not be able to identify him.

I am not into confrontation in truck stop parking lots. He appeared to be MUCH younger than me and likely could have kicked my butt if he was of that sort. The ONLY equalizer I had hand was my maglight, did not wish to take a chance.

Tried to get a pic, only could see his back.

Too many nuts out there for me to start confronting people. Too old for that happy horse crap.

I understand....but my vehicle is my way of life for my family. ...he could be messing something up under your truck or worse hiding something under there.....if he damamged a brake line that later causes you to be in an accident and someone loses a life ....you think the officer will believe your story about someone under your vehicle. .....in that situation my 30 inch tire thumper would be in hand when I stepped out to confront the stranger ......just my thinking

I understand completely. I did not have a 30 inch tire thumper.

It is also possible that he just dropped something and went under to retrieve it. I DO need to get a better "equalizer" on the truck than what I have.

You fail to mention the time of day,but I tend to think he either saw something under your truck or dropped something and recovered it. He would have no motive or anything to gain by doing anything to your truck. Just my thought.

About 10AM.. That is why I did not want to jump to conclusions.

If I had dropped something under someone's truck, I would let them know if I was going under, that is just me. Don't like surprises.

Esp from a saftey point of veiw. For sure if the truck was idling I would knock first before entering the under carriage. Not a smart idea to go under there..
