For those of you who monitor your mileage closely, would you mind sharing the following information?

(1) Average Mileage

(2) Engine

(3) Rear End

(4) Transmission

I am assuming this is based upon 65 mph or so.

I've been getting about 10.5 mpg, CAT 3126, 4:65 rear end, 6 spd.

63mph Speed kills mpg it will drop to 9 at 70 or lower. Freight does not effect mpg except WV and then very little. Its the speed that hurts the mpg so it pays me to drive slower. I hate those you got 10 hours to drive 580 loads (just an example) where you have your back against the wall.

1. 05, m2/112 - 12.8 mercedes/435hp@1450tq - 3.42 rear - 6 spd. allison auto - 1275rpm@65 - 9.7/10.2 mileage is somewhat better than that but i figure it over all . i set the trip and drive and idle till i need to fuel then i fuel take the gallons it takes to fill and the mi. on the trip and do the math so in all actuality my mpg is better but i use this manner because it is more of a real situation. this only varies about 2/3 10th. at 70 and 75
