state line and speeding

if you are speeding in one state and trooper or who ever chases you a cross the state line, say a couple of miles into the next state is he able to stop you and give you a ticket with out the other state trooper showing up , i saw a nc state trooper go in va about 5 miles and stop someone who ran out of nc into va on highway us 17 north
wasn't me just wondering

Yes, most states and most counties have recipricating agreements.

It used to be that you could just go to another county to get away from a sheriff but since the Feds have gotten involved with law enforcement, this has changed.

it wasn't me, i've been driving sent i was 17 and no speeding tickets
couple of other things but was able to get them drop for the good driving record, coming out of hampton roads tunnel cross a double line in va don't do that other time cut off a motor bike cop
in a strange town that i don't go to offend, both said great driving record but have to give a ticket and judge will decide what will happen and each time judge said i'll give you a break and don't come back here again
