From midnight to 3 AM I was heading up I-75 with a load (my first) to just north of Detroit.

I passed a total of seven 2-vehicle collisions in the area from the MI state line to the Detroit city limits ...... where they finally had some salt on the roads. There were also another 4 vehicles that I passed that had spun out and went off the roadway.

At home & heading out to the cottage later for a few days of snuggling in front of the fireplace sipping Irish Creme after ski-dooing and fishing for ice all day. :+

Truck is in the shop drying off after being washed and gone over with a fine tooth comb. Next run will be out west.

We have to be there at 4:00 in the morning and then after the little mistake of taking this load we are heading east to the truck show! Would love to meet you guys but we sure have a long way to go and only a short time to get there!

Team Caffee, its too bad we won't get a chance to meet up with you this time. We are home in San Marcos Texas right now...

Just waitin to get the truck out of the shop (air conditioner wasn't working) then I can go test for my license finally...Looks like we won't be in service til the end of the week.

Ahhh, Gettin there, I was offered the load you are on that picked up in Pittsburg,Ca. But I run solo out of N Calif and I told dispatch that maybe one of the teams here would like it and at least get them half way back to the "system". Anyway, I would have gone if they needed me. Meantime, jus did my Thurs, Fri and Sat locals and sittin home waitin for my next offer tomorrow
