The main problem with Sprinters is finding " authorized " service . Daimler/Chrysler is requiring owners to go to Dodge dealers with inexperienced technicians . Check the archives . A while back I posted the URL for a good Spinter site

i will repost this here.....a fella i met recently has an 8 passenger 2500. he is going to replace the std mb fuel filter with a goldenrod type filter so he can unscrew the filter housing and just replace the paper element. try www.mcmaster-carr.com or www.northerntool.com for units and pricing. should also work on a 6.6d-max.

I also read somewhere they are changing the GVWR. The 9990 has been replaced with a 10,140. So if you want to keep it under 10,001 you have to go with the 8550# as there is nothing else in betweent the 8550 and the 10,140. Thanks alot Dr Z.
