Sprinter wont go into park

Hey guys any idea on why 2010 sprinter won't go into park. Shifts otherwise fine. Can't release the key because of this obviously.

Is something caught on the shift linkage or is it out of adjustment? Does it show it is in neutral but it is actually in drive?

Acts like an interlock is preventing it. Rnd all fine. Drives and shifts fine.

I dont have a answer but, Is it possible its something in the ign. switch jamming up??? Is it holding itself in place if ya push it or does it roll?

Hope its something cheap for you to fix..

I found a post about tail light wiring could cause problems with interlock. Recently had towed and might be related. Off to denver mb tomorrow.

Good news. When backup cam was installed their reverse switch shifted and blocked it. 15 min at Denver MB fixed.
