A little better than a week ago I ordered a set of four Michelin LTX M/S2 from Discount Tire Direct ... there was $50 online instant discount, the $70 rebate on four tires from Michelin, plus another $30 rebate for using my Car Care One (Summit Racing) credit card to make the purchase. The purchase also qualified for 6 months same as cash.
The Michelin rebate is good thru 4/15 ... not sure on the others.
You can go here: Shop for Michelin LTX M/S 2 Tires at Discount Tire and put in the zip you want for tires near you. I got mine in OH a few months back, in stock and put right on. Great tires, great service, though they don't do nitrogen.
You can also get them here for home delivery (free if you have Amazon Prime), as well as read a bunch about them: Michelin LTX MS/2 at Amazon
Michelin is the best choice by far. Great mileage, traction and ride. Might cost a little more up front, but in the long run you get what you pay for. Have always gotten at least 130k out of mine.
I took advantage of the Michelan advice on this forum and have had excellent results....full set of the mud and snows for $900.00 installed....
Original stock continentals gave me 80k....mich are still good with 145k on them....rears are burning a lil quicker than fronts but my bad for poor rotation schedule...
I had them within a couple of days after placing the order ... but they shipped out of the Columbus, OH warehouse on 3/27 and I found them my garage in Northeast, OH on 3/28 ...
The invoiced total, including sales tax (and free shipping), was $868.95 ... subtract another $100 off that for the rebates.
Hey all have gone to taller tires in the past to off set some of the lower rear end gearing on my other trucks. I understand the speedo will show some else.
Any idea please?
