A question for you Sprinter(or any other cargo van) folks. Do any of you guys run a generator in your van? A couple of days ago I was on my way to Houston and a Sprinter passed me on US290, noticed he had a small Honda gasoline generator mounted on the left rear door. I think it might have been an expeditor as it was qualcom equipped and had a DOT # on the side(no other markings). I got to thinking where would one would mount an APU on a Sprinter, and I guess it would have to be on the rear or on the roof. I talked a Sprinter owner from FECC and he said he thought you could get an APU put in internally by one of the conversion places but he'd never seen one. He said he had an inverter and thats worked for him. Just curious as to what works for you guys? Tom.

i don,t personally have one but have seen several van that had a generator underneath where the spare tire goes or as you seen attached to the back door}>

believe it or not i saw a cargo van leased on to panther at the detroiter in whitehaven,mi and his generator was mounted on his front bumper.
