Sprinter or Straight Trk

I've read where most feel there are too many sprinters (B's) already on the road to be a good investment but I was wondering if it varies by region ?? Most of the posts I've read seem to center on the midwest. Is there a chance the east coast might be better for vans ?? Just looking to edumacate myself further.

I don't think the region has as much to do with it when you are running for larger expediting companies. Yes some carriers do better than others on the east coast, but you would be running the entire country.

If you want to be running mostly the east coast than consider an air freight company like EGL. ( they changed names but I forget what the new name is )

Yes, too many Sprinters at this time.

In the present economy, too many trucks period.

Unless you have deep pockets, I'd seriously consider making any investment in equipment; new or pre-owned.

And there are those few who are managing, but these folks are experienced expediters who know their boards or have other freight resources.
