So what do you think, 2012 2500 HR Sprinter with 170K miles...Mercedes-Benz : Sprinter 2500 Would this be a good starter van?

I like my sprinter alot but I'm going to be brutally honest. In one month that dreaded countdown could appear and the mechanic says you need to replace two cat convertors, a dpf filter, and some sensors, that will be 8 grand please. Does it happen to everyone, no. But it is not a rare occrance and every sprinter driver knows someone it has happened to. The first thing I would do is head to Florida and have a def delete done on that sucker. More power, better mileage and thousands in savings over the long run.
