AND...now speedco is charging anyone with a tag/pusher axle the higher price too, regardless of engine size or amount of oil used. We have an FL106 with the Detroit 50 series engine and it only takes 27 quarts BUT we have that extra axle and we are going to be charged the higher amount. I asked if we could take the extra oil "to go" with us and they didn't think that was too funny. Might as well go to Petro etc for oil change now.

I also go to Spedco in Troy Illinois, In fact they are the only Speedco that carries oil and fuel filters for the mercedez mbe900. Tell them Joe said hi....

What do ya say we all make a call to the SpeedCo home office and ask them to check out this web site and/or just inform them that we are sorry that we can no longer do business with them due to their price hikes, add on charges, and because they no longer stay open 24hrs. or whatever your reasons may be. Maybe they will want to keep our business and make some concessions or maybe they won't. I beleive that if enough of us make the call they just might try to work something out with us. I know it won't hurt to try.
I don't have that number tonight but I'll post it as soon as I get it.

I had a driver try sppedco in gary,in in may, worst place ever. they discarded oil before doing tests on it, which we requested, didn't change both fuel filters on truck, which we asked eventhough they charged me for it, they said they replaced air filter, but didn't. A week after oil change, one on the fuel filters clogged, and had to have road servive $145.00 come out and replace it. It took me over 60 days, and numerous calls to get them to pay me back. I had to have my lawyer send them a letter saying I would sue them if I didn't get payment in 5 business days. They called and overnighted me a check. As far as i'm concerned, speedco sucks.
