Thanks for that!! Iam not advocating for gun control, just putting forth conversation ideas.
I am 100% for gun control, it produces tighter groups.

Many of your posts have been unintelligible rants yet they had a train wreck quality to them that made them entertaining to read. Now, I will happily skip over them in complete confidence that I am not missing anything of value.
Not up on the Soviet way are you? These people are bothered by nothing if it furthers their goals.
It amazes me just how little American's were taught about the Soviets and the Cold War, then again, considering where most went to school, maybe not.
People with the EXACT same goals as Obama murder more than 25 MILLION people to achieve their goals. NOTHING would surprise me about Obama. We have NO idea how many the Chicoms murdered, with the same dreams and goals.
There is MUCH EVIL coming down the pike. Marxism is the child of evil. Evil does not care. Obama IS a Marxist in his dreams, his goals and his actions. Evil is as evil does.

That is MY belief. I don't speak for anyone else. Few in here have lead my life. Met who I have met. I KNOW what the Marxist is capable of. Obama is a Marxist by his own words, actions and beliefs. Why should I think any better of him that what I saw from the rest?
I suggest the books of Dr. Tom Dooley. I read them the first time when I was in the 8th grade. He was not a good writer. He was a one time US Navy doctor who left the Navy to care for people I Laos, Vietnam etc. The HORRORS that he described that were inflicted on innocent people, children burned a picture in my mind. It is never left.
You may believe as you wish. Anyone can. So can I. Nothing has changed with the Marxists. The SAME murders that took place in Russia, Poland, The Ukraine, The Baltics, East Germany, WILL take place here. Just as they are today in North Korea, China, Tibet.
Obama doesn't have to pray for more children to die in mass shootings because he knows full well another mass shooting will happen. Then, another. The problem for many people is the eagerness with which Obama seizes these emotional moments to further his left-wing agenda. I am not too terribly worried about Obama because he is an ineffectual leader. He cannot get any meaningful legislation through Congress.
Our American Caesar is going to have a very frustrating second term.

Were you involved in the Cold War in any way? Many Canadians were. I worked with several really good people from there. Many Canadians, just as Americans, did nothing. They lived and ignored what went on during that time. Many Canadians, just as many Americans, supported those in Soviet Russia, China etc.
Again, just interested in you perspective. I know how mine was formed. It would be interesting to know others and what it is based on.
My personal opinion is Obama would jump at the chance to regulate guns, but only if it is handed to him on a silver plate. To be fair, he went through a first term and nothing about gun control was pushed. Even some democrats are disappointed that he did nothing on that front.
I clearly disagree with most if not all of his politics because they are too left leaning and quite frankly he appears in over his head.
With that said, it is a pretty large leap to go from that to advocating the killing of children to advance a firearms ban. To this point, nothing indicates that position.
My position is based on current information with no connection to Russian history. What happened in the past can only be a possible reflection of future events but they are not absolute.

He did nothing in the first term because there would have been no reelection. He needed a second term to consolidate his power. Now, he cannot be stopped. Now he can begin to dismantle the Constitution. Watch and see.
No I wasn't involved in the Cold War. Does that void my opinion? Because its at this point where you always seem to go personal with it ("you don't know who I've met..etc") My post had nothing to do with you or who you've met or the life you've led. It was asking who else agreed with what you stated. Nothing more.
Does Obama pray for another mass murder of children as in kneel at his bedside and formally pray for such an event? Not likely. Does Obama "pray" for another mass murder of children as in think about the opportunities events like that present and desire as many opportunities as he can get? Probably so. The Emmanuel quote accurately portrays the regime's position.
I was just trying to learn from you. I did not suggest that anything would void or not void your opinion. I was not trying to make it personal in the way you may think. I don't understand people's thinking if I don't know their background is all.
