Southeast Carriers?

Hey group, anyone know of any new or smaller carriers that operate in the southeast area primarily? Got a friend that has a "B" unit and a "C" unit looking to stay closer to his home in southern Ga. and possibly running in about a 750 mile radius. I realize there are no perfect jobs or perfect carriers. His lifestyle has changed and he is looking at slowing down considerably. One or two trips a week is all he is looking for and wants to head to the house once aweek to check on an older member of his family. Any ideas on this, let me know your thoughts. P.S. his equipment is paid for and revenue is not as important as not going nuts staying home all the time! Sound familiar?? Thanks again, and I hope you all have a safe Holiday weekend. Two companies come to mind. One is Nations, and the other is Southeast express. I can't speak for them but thet may take someone on a limited basis. The other option would be air frieght or forwarding companies.

Ok, Nations Express is a Southern carrier - there is also All-State Express of Kernersville, N.C. 877-742-5875

I have known a few O/O's who ran for both of these carriers and they did good to very good.
