I think if there was a need for an apology, it isn't you who needs to be making one but someone else who I will not mention.

Geez Greg - grow some stones - and come out say what you mean: if you have some thoughts about an apology needing to be made by someone in particular just come out and say it ... at least privately to the individual if nothing else (after having raised the issue publicly .....), if your gumption to do so publicly is lacking ....

but that's not saying it isn't possible, I don't know the guy to make that judgment call.

The real issue was that everyone had a hand into it and ignored the obvious.

Well ..... just for us really slow types, how about you come out and be direct, and tell us, in plain language, exactly what was obvious to YOU.
