Just out of curiosity, mostly my own, I was wondering... are you an actual expediter, with either your own authority or leased on to a carrier?.

I would think you would take your own advice which you gave further down in your post. Which was, maybe that question belongs in a PM. I have to ask though, does it matter?

The reason I ask is, I just find it a little odd that an expediter would post on an expediting Web site and never post in any of the expediting-related forums, sticking exclusively to the Soapbox Forum (or nearly exclusively, 168 threads started by you, not one of them outside of this forum. I admit I haven't checked all 1400+ of your postings, so there may be a scant handful of postings in other forums).

Those other forums aren't nearly as entertaining as the Soapbox. Again, does it matter?

Considering the Code of Conduct was created to foster a professional attitude in all of the forums, and this thread shows very little of it, again I ask if you are in fact a professional driver, or merely a professional Soapboxer.

What happened Turtle, did the higher ups have a "Come to Jesus" meeting with you recently? Excuse me......let me lean over and pick up my tin foil......okay.....let's see, little adjustment....okay, there we go. Were you getting a little too squirrelly with the regulars and have to be reeled in a bit? Did they finally let you in on what this site is all about? Were you breaking ranks? They had to get you squared away? I mean, all this talk about the "Code of Conduct" and "free exchange of ideas and information" and "professional attitude". If I didn't know better, I would almost think you are trying to censor(not to be confused with censure) me.

No, it doesn't matter. Like I said, I'm curious. As for it belonging in a PM, perhaps, but it's no different than asking someone what kind of vehicle they drive, who they drive for, whether they are a driver or an owner, none of which necessarily belong in a PM. I do recall others here asking the same question of you, but I do not recall ever seeing you answer it.

A come to Jesus meeting? Hardly. Have to be reeled in? Not a chance. If someone wants to reel me in I'll break the line and be on my way. Breaking ranks? I'm not ranked. And I'm not trying to censor you, I was actually censoring me in trying to be a little more diplomatic about this rather than speaking bluntly about it, hoping that you would get the point.

I don't now why I'd be holding my breath. I can't think of a single reason why he wouldn't want to answer the question, either here or in a PM.

Well, Barry was honest and up front, as it turns out, from the very beginning regarding his birth certificate. Honesty I can respect. Avoidance and obfuscation, not so much.

All I'm asking for is a simple answer to a simple question, be it here or in a PM, without having to first endure more questions in lieu of an honest answer.
