I haven't been to Federal Way Washington in awhile but back in the day I used to stop here alot for somthing to eat and the ambience...
Stopped in today and it was gone....Replaced by LA fitness etc!
When did this happen? Any old hands know?
What next the Detroiter?

if you check a truck stop book...that j was closed about 6-8 months ago when they opened the new one...without the hooker haven. Is right off 5 not far from old one.

With the way the detroiter has gone downhill in quality and service,not to mention that it's a pay lot it would be a good thing to see it bulldozed and replaced.

What's up with these Pay-To-Park lots?

I hadn't been in the Chicago area before last week and dropped off above Joliet. I stopped at the Clark Truck Stop on I-55 and I saw a sign in the auto lot indicating that I would be paying $6.00 to park my cargo van out front between 12am and 7am. The tractor lot had an attendant in a booth at the entrance of the lot.

When I can park someplace else for free that is generally where I am going to spend money to purchase food, fuel and other incidentials.

When they told me that I would have to pay for parking a cargo van overnight I left there without spending a dime.
