So Many Opportunities, So Little Time (1 solution)

Here we sit in January, making plans for all that we want to get done and still get in a little trucking. There's MATS, in March, the Expo in July, GATS in August, Charlotte in October. And if you want to take part in a charity there are a lot of opportunities to take part in the Worlds Largest Convoy for Special Olympics. In December, there is Wreaths Across America.

Did you noticed I missed mentioning the Great Lakes Convoy in September?

That would be because we have been invited to move to July 26th, at the Roberts Center, Wilmington,Ohio!!

The activities will start after the Expo closes for the afternoon and before Casino Night and the Party on the Patio.

When we get the website updated, I will make sure and bring it to the EO family's attention.

Knowing how well Load 1, Tri State, and Bolt have done in the past raising sponsorship money for their trucks it would be great to see a little friendly competition between carriers. Smack talking allowed.
In 2012 the lead truck was from Load 1 and won a Commodore seat from National Seating. (Lead truck is whoever raises the most money)

just a thought, do you think doing this between the end of the show and the nightly festivities will hinder the participation. people who want to be involved having things show related to do at that time. just a thought. was sunday not an option ?

Its great to know that you two are considering taking part in the Convoy. I'm not absolutely positive, but since Lawrence suggested the Friday evening slot, I don't think there is anything else 'show related' scheduled then.

no, im sure there isnt. just know some take those 3 or 4 hours to clean up, relax a bit, have supper and change clothes in preparation for the casino night. just thought maybe it would be to much for some who wish to participate. just a thought. whenever it is will be fine and with you behind it things will go great.

We are aware of the time constraints. We are trying to plan this so everyone that would like to participate in all the other events/activities can do so.
