Greetings all:
Thanks to Lawrence for asking me to moderate this Forum on Canada.
I hope that this will be an informative place; especially about Customs and the border.
I regret to say that I'm not a driver; a health condition prevents that; but I have thirty years in the Customs and Freight field here in Canada.
Ask away; if I don't know the answer I'll find out.
Many regulations are rather obscure unless you have been trained in the field.
In this day and age regulatory compliance is necessary and errors could prove costly.

OOhhhh BTW .... DX is considering an expedite office out of Columbus Ohio...Just a rumour at this point.

and further news: Ford is going to announce major expansion of Oakville plant with up to 2,000 new jobs (Oct29th) AND D-C is also going to expand it's Brampton plant with an announcement also for the end of the month!
Spin-off jobs estimated at 25,000 new jobs. If this comes to past You peeps down south of the border may have alot more trips into the great white north.
