So far, I like this guy!

I find Christie to come across as hostile, emotionally fragile and going out of his way to annoy conservatives. He's overcompensating for some issue.
.

That is my impression of him as well. I couldn't vote for him either. He didn't want to sign with the other states on the Obamacare lawsuit. Wouldn't have taken much for him to get involved either. I thought his over the top, slobbering affection for Obama after the hurricane was the final straw. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been thankful for the government help, but it was a BIT much.

Substitute "Obama" for "Christe and it works the same.

I know he is deified by some but... :D

I found humor in the Cheri comment and I feel that she would as well. :)

I LMAO reading Xiggi's comment. But as he says, it's very early, and I could change my mind - I just found Christie a refreshing change from the depressing parade of Republican lunatics in the news lately. Both a sense of humour and the [apparently rare] ability to say "Shut up already!" point blank, when it's justified are talents a good POTUS should have, IMO.

Unfortunately, his size and appearance would be a factor as well as his perceived health.

Is it just me, or do the Repubs have a pronounced preference for 'pretty people'? So many of their candidates are superficially attractive, but substantially flawed underneath the surface. As for health, his size isn't necessarily a problem, and thin people can have all sorts of potential time bombs ticking away inside as well, so who knows?

Pretty people like Mitt Romney and his spray tan poll more favorable.

Among the shallow & superficial, sure.

Just my opinions.
