So what you are saying is that Blink182 is better and more influential than Led Zeplin, Janice Joplin, The Who, Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Jovi, Springsteen, Guns & Roses, Pink Floyd, Metalica, Beastie Boys, Joan Jett, Def Leopard, Van Halen, U2, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Poison, The Styx, Pantera.

I think you get my point that's its your opinion. Before you say that I'm some old Geezer, I'm only 30 and those bands listed above and more have been more influential than Blink182.

IMHO of course.

the only one on your list that makes me think "who?" is blink182.. I can't put my finger on the name of one of their songs.

Let me ad Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller, American band, Grand funk.... I'll stop. i could go on and on..

I don't EVER listen to am/fm unless it's talk radio. to me music died in the 80's. The crap they come out with now does very little for me.

I'm not even 40 yet.

You call that music ? I heard the same thing 40 years ago ! That was in my Paul Butterfield Blues Band Days. I don't listen to music much anymore. At 3 am a little Grand Funk, Bob Seeger, etc is as good as a 5 hour energy .

lol let me clarify sense they have had there first hit they have are one of the biggest influences of TODAYS rock scene . The whole scene is changed. Today's stuff isnt on the radio either. The new rock is quite different and this style has out grown the old type stuff"that is still great and always will be" but its a different era. The biggest rock tour in america is all summer long with this type of music. Yess bigger than ozzfest . Vans Warped Tour. If you havent went you should go but lets start a music thread of what type of music you listen to to get you down the road:)
As long as were in rock and roll were all fam.
Heres a few of todays biggest bands that are on top of the pyramid .Every band doesnt sound as good live but its the funnest thing to be there or watch. I had to bring my bike and setup and give shirts out for a clothing sponsor last year and I had back stage passes so I could stand on the stage like 2 feet away from the drummer the energy was so intense. I was def star struck lol

bring me the horizon- pray for plagues look at the amount of views....
