Eccentric isn't the word I'd use.
Just normal weather. April snow is just NOT out of the ordinary.
even MAY is not out of bounds out here...*L*
Yeah, people just get goofy. They see "spring" written on a calender and think that it should be 80 out.
It snowed in Alpena in June of '92. Not hard, just some flakes in the air, but it was snow.
I have planted my plants for this year, y'all keep the snow where it belongs.
I once saw snow on the 4th of July in North Yorkshire, England. Just flakes.

Anyone coming along I90 tomorrow night keep in mind our snow storm...I expect 90 will be closed at some point...

Most of the snow accumulation is expected to be centered between the missouri and james river valleys. Generally 4 to 8 inches of heavy wet snow is expected... Although locally higher amounts are possible. Snow amounts will vary significantly across the area depending on the timing of the transition from rain to snow.
* winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected during the duration of this system... With widespread reduced visibility in areas of heavy snow.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A winter storm warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel... Keep an extra flashlight... Food... And water in your vehicle in case of an emergency

Winter weather advisory for Minneapolis. 6 in expected starting tomorrow night. I sure am hoping for a load tomorrow. (Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!) Lol
