NO! I was NOT calling you chicken but if the feathers fit................... I was referring to this adaptation of an old Russian proverb.
The Little Red Hen Story - EnchantedLearning.com
That's a good story and sooooooooo me...*l*
Boy that french bread I made yesterday was so good!
MMMMMMMM, Maybe we can work something out!! I will catch us a nice mess of Red Ears, you and Jan can do the cooking and we can all enjoy them with pride and honor. Now, just what we will have Ken do? I know, the dishes!!
i suppose it slipped your mind to put any of that french bread in the package.
He can go fishing with you....you know how Canadians love the cold....
LOL!! I think we should stick with the dishes idea. I would be willing to bet that Ken is to chicken to ice fish with me!!!
that would be a good job for him.
Hey I used to ice fish on Lake Simcoe when I was younger..sit there and stare at a hole...*lol*
And wondering where the remote was..

Why stare at the hole? You are there to catch fish!! Simcoe is good. I do like fishing Simcoe on "soft water" as opposed to the ice. You have to be mobile on that lake. The perch move a lot there.
Yeah, I can picture him in front of the sink, sleeves rolled up, wearing a "cute" red and white checked apron!! Plastic apron of course. I am sure that he splashes a lot!!
Perch and Whitefish...real good eating
Back in the late 50's there were areas where the water was clear..not anymore..too much development..same as Georgian Bay...
Yeah, it's clear when ice is on. I like it up on the Lower French River. Nice there. The fishing is not as good as it is around home but the the area is far nicer and much less crowded. For just plain walleye fishing there is just no better place on Earth than the Detroit River and the Western Basin of Lake Erie!! The sheer numbers of fish there is staggering!!
