Slowing down abit?

Here in Ontario I took a bit of time and queried our dispatch staff and the sum of it all is it's slowing down a bit, The kicker is Dynamex just put on 4-5 more vans, go figure eh! Three of these are from CTX seems they have a screwy vehicle insurance plan at least here in Canada No load no insurance, they have to get an add on policy just to move around.
I am going to take about 4 days off now as JuJu needs some tending to and the van needs some long overdue mech work Tranny cooler has a minor leak and #4 fuel injector has been acting up for sometime now AND about that injector, up here in the Great White North the cheapest one I could find was $173 plus tax (15%) @ dealer was 235! BUT I scoped out AutoZone there in Trenton and got one for 79.95 U.S. about $110 Can, so am going to try one out!

Just curious, you mentioned Dynamex putting on vans. Did you mean these were vans that were at CTX? I am leased to Dynamex here in the Washington DC area and I know we are swamped with work (although it is cheap-o work that frankly I don't want to do)

Here in the Baltimore/Washington DC area all services are in the same house. Routed/courior/expedite/fleet/logistics and I have done a large slice of it all. Dynamex does not pay enough and I am looking to bug out. Low %, work sold too cheap, you get the idea...

yep I know what ya mean...they have some low rates here too but not as low as you quoted earlier........

Anyways, I spoke with a Con-way B driver yesterday at BWI Airport and he said it was picking up some for him presently. Although I was a bit disapointed to hear his claims of only making about $1,000 a week.
