I disagree. The whole point of this type of truck would be to stay under the tax, and be able to plate more than the tandem straight truck. Someone else could always buy the truck later and pull 48's or 53' and plate 64K. Someone like a O/O pulling light, cubic loads.
Besides, being so short, one could put a large aftermarket sleeper, and still have a payload of 25,000 lbs.?
The main point is, will one get paid enough, often enough, to make this thing feasible??
