I ordered this van without any rear door glass (no side door glass either).
This set up eliminates the rear view mirror.
Personally, I like the panoramic view through the front windshield. I yank the EZ Pass off when it is not needed. For me, driving without any distractions via the view through the front windshield makes driving safer and more pleasurable too! If I could figure a way to eliminate the two Velcro strips for the EZ Pass they would be gone as well.
I sit high in the seat at 6’4†and the windshield mounted rear view mirror was always a hindrance to my line of sight. Now I enjoy a theater view when driving through the mountains as I take in the splendor of fall foliage. For me, nothing is going on that windshield to disturb my view.
PS. Studies show that reflections from items lying on the dashboard, items hanging from the mirror or other attachments on the windshield actually cause your eyes to work harder; hence, increased eye strain. Your eyes tend to fixate on those items as you scan across your field of vision. Those continual momentary fixations increase stress on the ocular muscles. Get rid of all that superfluous stuff, clean your windshield both inside and out everyday and enjoy the view! Your eyes will thank you for it too!
