September locations

At home, bought a house a couple of weeks ago, close on it next week. I needed to raise some cash so I started listing stuff on Craigslist for sale. So far I've sold 2 river lots and a mobile home at more than I ever thought I could get in this market. Actually got what I was asking for the lots and even more than I was originally asking for the mobile home (it was like new). With that done..the house will now be a cash purchase

Got 2 magic phone calls today!!!! I must be special again LOL. Got a load from Perrysburg, OH to Minerva, OH. Then another at 1$ a mile plus 75$ bonus so I can get home for the weekend. Load #2 is going from Cuyahoga Falls, OH to Milton, PA. Yup, I was turning onto the street I live on when customer service called me on the 2nd load.

Were those the lots in Texas you sold or do I have you mixed up with another driver? That is a beautiful house and only 150 dollars a year in property taxes. That's good! So, when can I move in? Do you have room for an old cargo van in that driveway!

My lots were in AR so musta been somebody else. The taxes I think are probably more than that. I think that $150 is actually the SID (association) fees. That's still cheap for association fees though. Of course you gotta consider that it's a community 100 miles from Nowhere, AR...lol. It's a nice area though. It has 7 lakes with some pretty good bass fishing (I think I "might" know a couple of guys who "might" have snuck over there one time and went fishin

) I'll be all legal an everthang now

As for parking room, I'm gonna be lucky to find a place for my ridin mower! The house will be empty about 80% of the time though, somebody might as well use it while I'm out slavin

I'm not too smart, but I would rather be lucky anyway

Everything has fell in my direction on all of this. I have NO expectations of this continuing for a prolonged period of time...lol.

BTW...the price you see listed is NOT the price I paid

I didn't think it was..you DO wheel and deal pretty well! I envy you all the lakes too, but not your humidity!

I've spent most of my life with something wrapped around my throat choking me every time I tried to do something...not sure it was a horseshoe though, pretty sure it wasn't golden..lol. I'm enjoying the good fortune while it lasts. I'm sure Mr. Murphy will find me again sooner than I would like!

JuJu...you just need to get Ken on a good long coast to coast round trip, then you'll have some time. You can come down and go fishin with me

I need to make sure that I haven't misled anyone. That house is NOT 100%. It is new, never lived in, but it is also a couple of years old. The contractors who built it, threw it together pretty quick and it will cost me $12-15k and some sweat equity to get it in good shape. But, I got it cheap enough to do all that and still be in the price range of what is listed and that is probably half the value of the house.

That is our government for you, they started out asking 99,900 for that house and they were dropping the price 10k/month until it sold. I started negotiating with them when it was at 69,900. I started at 38k and got it for 47k...being a cheap xxxxxx and all

Lost a Darn good load beginning of the week ta From NY to CA as it Canx. Burnt 21/2 hours on the book by the time it was said and done with.
Got Hooked taken 3 Bread loads that just had to be done OMG! Now be sit in wonderful Phillidelphia. Trying to make the Book for the week and so far its NADA.
Happy Labor Day Weekend. Dont forget to Watch Jerry Lewis Telathon on Monday. Hopefully I get a Run to make my book for the week. Need a Steak so I can Make a Sandwhich. Cant live on Stale Bread alone.

Good Morning Been Checked into the Phalidelphia PA Center since I dropped on Thur late afternoon. Had a good offer to CA took it Qual com came back and said were sorry load dispatched to anouther unite. Oh well Thats politics.
