Picked up a load going to Roswell GA delivering Monday morning at 8am. I sure hope I don't sit there for days on end....

Well my Georgia trip turned into a round trip (yeah!!!!) and got to watch a couple of techs rip apart an MRI machine and change some coils. Although every time I got close to the machine my teeth started to vibrate (steel posts) they have to work on those things with the magnet active. All of the tools they use were made of a special metal that is non ferrus but hard (stainless would bend too easy they say)

Had to fly back to Cleveland to pick up a load of furniture going to a Hilton in Tampa so looks like I get to visit my place in lakeland again, been there 3 times in the last month. Of coarse when it's cold as hell outside I bet I don't get a load there.....

By the way just noticed I said Monday morning, supposed to have been Friday morning..

you should be thanking them because you won't make silly decisions to go to that crappy state anymore...
You see, this is a dedicated shipper from Minnesota. the pay is excellent, more then enough to cover for the cheap load out. it shipped all over, this time to Cali., that shipper will not contract with my carrier unless we can serve ALL of his costumers. we have more then a few shippers like that in Minnesota.
at what point do i stop serving my carrier needs?.

First and foremost YOU serve your own needs....2nd your carriers....YOUR business comes first. your carrier can find other O/O's to meet the need....or maybe it is time for you to move on?....
when there are 2 clear cut paths....Change your business plan without Cali or include Cali and bend over and comply....Like LOS did with speed limiters.....;)

Again, as long as you are making a long term profit, you continue doing what must be done.

ExActly....if the money is there he must buy a carb compliant truck! Personally he might not want to, but he had to follow the money

Still in Youngstown, OH at the Petro waiting for the right load. No more Wombat wandering around the parking lot so I guess it's safe to get out of the truck. (LOL) Got my hairs cut, Truck washed, and found a guy to buff out my 6 alum wheels, 3 belly box's and apu cover only charged $100.00 did a great job the wheels look brand new. B.T.W. He used an electric buffer not by hand and went over them with 2 different buffing bricks. He was at the Mr Fuel across from the Petro P.M. me if you need his cell number
