Sitting at our favorite spot at MIA. Got here Monday morning with a full set of landing gear that we picked up in Minneapolis Saturday. This was the second leg of a $6500.00 run that began in Miami picking up a newly rebuilt set of landing gear that delivered to Minneapolis. Then we picked up a set there at the same customer to return to Miami to be completely rebuilt.
Since there were eight trucks ahead of us when we got here we were already prepared to possibly sit here through tonight. No big deal! We'll get loaded Thursday for sure.
These are photos I took tonight of MIA's control tower in a full moon. If you look below and slightly right of the moon in the first photo, you will see a 747 cargo jet that had just taken off. Tonight's winds have the flights heading east southeast crossing directly under the moon.
