juju i hope so. must admit ken has me inspired to get off butt and start the new nutritional plan. i am now getting things set up intruck electric cooler rice cooker, crock pot and tiny cigerate power oven. and menues. i will be focusing on low cal mainly than low fat next low sugar. I wont be visiting my good freind mr buffet hardly at all in the future. my eating happen will change from one long grazing to 3 small meals a day seperated by at least 2 hours

Zack, if you're doing the nutrisytem, all you'll need is the microwave. And it has proven benefits. I did the one for diabetics and not only did I lose the pounds, but am now off of some of the diabetic pills. The other part is exercise...and the more you lose, the more you feel like getting out of the truck and walking that extra lap around the parking lot. Of course with me it's the garden and when it's too cold to do that, it'll be the treadmill.

Yep, on my way home 9-2-10 got rear ended by a big truck 23 miles from home. Took them 8 days to get back to me. I was going back in service on the 8th after I had the probe up the wazoo done on the 7th. His ins. company giving me the run-a-round on my reveune that I missing, so Sat, I took it in to the shop, paid out of pocket 1,000. That's when they called and said they couldn't fix it. So 2,500 dollars may turn into many more $$$.

juju i will be ordering the nutrisystem but also other foods so i am not running out on the road. so on the road food purcases will be cereals, oatmeal, salad fixins, lean quisine, 15 bean soup, thompson muffins, health bars, slim fast, tuna fish. snacks baby carrots, broccoli, nuts, bannanas boiled eggs, whole cooked chicken from grocery for soups and salad topping

and my cup is empty...time for the garden chores..went out to feed the birds this morning because I saw some Baltimore Orioles in the bird bath and dang near froze my keister off.

12 days out no revenue thats a killer.
but in their defence trucking companies arnt use to the revenue per day a expediter sprinter can make

Empty in Cohoes NY, was suppose to be a turn around but now the stuff won't be finished until noon tomorrow. Sooo..they are now paying me layover and then the return trip tomorrow afternoon...:rolleyes:

Wow sounds like you'll be eating good. I'll have to give up bread, sugar,fruit and almost all carbs.
That leaves veggies and protein.

Dakota, you need to watch taking all or a major drop in carbs from your diet...you throw your body into ketosis and you will regret it big time....you go from a high glycemic diet to a low carb diet and that is a high risk.

Your body needs carbs and there are good carbs as well as good sugars....any diet that tells you to dump fruit, I;d stay away from...it is refined sugars you need to stay away from , not natural sugars..jusst like the refind starches, those are bad....

Make sure you watch your glycemic index, you well be better for it....

I am sure an ex nurse or 2 here can go into more detail about the ketosis.....

Thanks for the heads up, I am doing this with my wife and we have been warned about ketosis. We are also doing this under a doctors supervision. Once you get down to 90% of your goal weight then you start adding normal food ie fruit, bread, pasta etc.

They also warned us to stay hydrated and to drink no less then 70 ounces of water a day
