September 11-17th being National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

OVM posted this in the Load-1 forum. I thought I would bring it out here and announce it so that some of you lowly van drivers could get a head start on appreciatin the rest of us

I couldn't understand why it was in the L-1 forum and the mods wouldn't move it.

I guess the point is this what is the use of a carrier centric section of any forum when general topics are being posted in them?

If someone feels the "need" to bring it out of a carrier forum, it is their option of course...there is no set agenda on these things....

Well knowing the "relationship" the OVM has with John Elliott ("hey john I WAS THINKING") I took it at a "poke" to evoke a response from John...and you seen John's post....."It was a joke son, thats was a joke".. but then again, I guess you have to contract with Load 1 to understand how OVM and John interact and the "prodding and poking...."

In hindsight tho...I should not have posted it in the Load 1 forum because everyday is Appreciation Day....

I should have posted it up here because it looks like some of you need all the help you can get....

LOL, you ever want to post something and you even type it out, but then you think better of it and delete it!?!? I find myself dong that more and more...I never use to do that kind of thing...just put it out there and let the "stuff" fall where it may..., I must be getting old....

Well actually the agenda is set through the forum, having a carrier centric forum that serves the purpose of having carrier centric issues be discussed seem not to be the place for general issues to be discussed. Maybe it is my way of looking at things, but I also think that the mods can do the job to police things a bit more and make sure we have right things in the right forum.

well it is right..because Load 1 plans "specific" activities just for us....

and it is still right in the general forum so members can cross company lines in general terms and activities across the industry...
