Be aware of gravity. Plan where the tree will fall. Stand on the opposite side of the fall. If your planning is worse than your cutting, yell "timber" and run like hell.I do get carried away some with a chainsaw in my hands!

Picked up a load from Ontario, CA to Laredo,TX. Delivered this am. Now sitting on the pond with line in the water.Hoping the heat down here don't keep the fish from biting.

Got all my power saws out 3 of them of different sizes and oiled up and on the job site.....got 5 good sized trees to cut up for firewood....
I thought firewood needed to be chopped and dried a year in advance?

I rented a log splitter, brought it home. Ya, your cord of wood if green needs at least a full year to cure.
It's addictive....don't say you need a haircut or shave!I do get carried away some with a chainsaw in my hands!
