Okay how in the world did that happen? I did not see the offending post, but how can you be banned that quick? Was Mikey warned that he had crossed the magic invisible line? Dang I better watch my number of beers per post so I don't get slapped down.

First you make a post that's somewhat disjointed and can be seen as a personal insult to another member, which violates the code of conduct. When that post is removed you make several inappropriate posts about it, copying and pasting the same thing in multiple threads. When that is dealt with you then send an inappropriate message to the administration filled with profanity. That earns you your prize of a week's vacation from posting privileges. Yes, it's best to limit the liquid narcotics when posting.

I have no clue what this is all about, it would be nice to see what was said because I can guess what was said and about whom.

So Leo who makes this decision?

Is it just the mods or the administrator?

I hope the mods do not have the power to ban people, just Lawrence and Dreamer.

Insults can be construed as anything, I am insulted regularly by two members but should those posts be deleted and the member banned - no way in my eyes. Even though I took great offense of one post that was done in the past few weeks, I am not going to be a cry baby about it and demand that it be deleted or even mention it to any mods or the site management.

If you could see what was removed there would be no point in removing it. Moderators and/or administrators decide if a post is inappropriate. Only administrators can suspend privileges. It would probably be better if it said suspended instead of banned since it's not permanent.

No... mods cannot ban anyone. It takes a stronger hand.

I felt compelled to respond to all this but after careful thought and reconsideration, I decided to ban myself from responding. Too bad, I had some really great thoughts on this subject. Wait a minute, just because I thought they were great doesn't mean the rest of you would agree so I guess my self imposed ban will have to stay. Of course a MOD might possibly be allowed to remove my ban or am I the only one who can remove my ban. Can they ban my ban or ban me from banning myself. The real question is what the he%% does any of this have to do with expediting

Ft. Hood sucked. Came back from the Nam in 71 and they sent me to The Hood, hated that place but Austin was nice. Who do you drive for, easier to ask than research, lol..

The First Cav Cowboys gave me a few rides back in the day when the black stetsons were the rage. YEEEEHAWWWW.

My son is a 1st Cav result. I kept telling him looking at that patch seems like it says the horse ya never rode, the bridge ya never crossed, an the yella speaks for itself.
