Last 3 years I have worked as an independent contractor. I am an O/O of my cargo van. First Year was 1.10 per loaded mile. Fuel dropped and competition was tight. Rates dropped to .90 per mile. Now fuel is back up but forget about that. I am getting calls for loads like crazy. However nothing is getting booked. Have not taken a run in over 2 weeks! What The Hell ?!?!
I am thinking they may lower rates again. I am also thinking it may be time to go else where or find something else to do all together. Thoughts? Anyone?
