Seat Belt Question

The annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Roadcheck inspection blitz will be held June 3-5 this year. The emphasis this year is on seat belt safety so the inspectors will be checking our seat belts as well as our USE of the seat belts. My question is about seat belts in the sleeper. We, of course have them but when you are sleeping in the bed do use a seat belt to strap yourself in? I can't really imagine inspectors waking up a sleeping co-driver to check seat belts in the sleeper but, what do you think? Maybe I need a really sexy gown???

Just worry about you have your seat belt on when driving and if your co-driver is in the pass seat that they have their's on to...Bunk don't worry if they ask tell them your co-driver is sleeping they won't do anything...

I know it would be safer to use the safety belt in the sleeper, but......

We have one of those restraints that you can fasten when
you are in the bunk.. I have used it a few times and feel
safer than when I don't. I keep telling my hubby I don't want
to go thru the windshield if you has to slam on brakes etc.
