With the start of July comes new laws passed during the last legislative session.

It is now open season on prairie dogs. Any regulation relating to the hunting of prairie dogs is now officially repealed.

Tribal I.D. cards can now be used at the bank as an acceptable form of identification.

And, while people will have to wait for winter, it is now legal to shoot coyotes from snowmobiles.

New Indiana laws

No longer carded for alcohol reglardless of age, now back to a more senseable if you look under 40

No texting and driving, although updating EO is perfectly legal:rolleyes:

We can now carry guns in libraries, buses, parks and even the police department, before these weren't allowed

We still can't sell cars or buy alcohol on Sunday:rolleyes:

It was the reprobate genius Doug Stanhope who once advocated that there be so maximum of 10 laws in this country, total, nationwide.

Start with the ones everybody agrees on, rape, murder, armed robbery, assault, etc. Once those are in place, with however many are left, you round out the 10 with what he calls the crazy, mix-and-match laws: no parking on 3rd street, no parking in front of a fire hydrant, curb your dog, no masturbating on the bus, etc.

Then, when someone wants to pass a new law, there would have to be a referendum to determine which of those mix-and-match laws gets repealed to make room for it. That way, no one particular interest group is getting screwed all the time.

"Ok, so I can't smoke in a bar anymore, but at least I can masturbate on the bus again."

Too bad they can't shoot coyote's down on our southern border, but they would need the snowmobiles:rolleyes:
