Hmmm let's see here, there's a try hours straight truck and a nitro express van and some courier cube truck and me, all waiting on the same plane to land, wonder who is getting screwed out of their load??

What size of converter is the largest I could get without messing up my battery

The answer depends on the type of battery. If you are talking about the starter battery, then the answer is none, unless you want to use it only when the van is running.

Ok then what do you suggest. I wanna get a mini fridge and tv in my van. I don't know what size battery it has right now cause I will be getting it back next week.
And I'm tired of not being able to pack cold foods and spending money all the time.

You need to install another deep cycle battery/batteries to be able to do what you want. If you run that fridge off of the starting battery, you will kill it. The starting battery is designed for a different kind of job.

Looks like the courier cube was the big loser, his load was to big for the plane, so his was on a second plane 2 hours later.

You want a minimum of a single 12 volt or dual 6volt. Either way the preffered battery would be a deep cycle agm type. More expensive upfront but cheaper in the long run. You also need proper heavy gauge wiring and a seperator.to keep from drawing the cranking battery down when running the aux.

Done right with minimum batteries your probably looking at 500.00 to 1000.00 dollars.

Oh get the right inverter too if you plan on running a laptop or other sensitive electronics. A friend just found an 1800 watt tripp lite on ebay for 239.00 free shipping.
