Small thing but I carry about 35 Supermarket shopping cards for all of the chains plus independents. If I see one that I don't have I get a new one from them. I estimate that I save about $250-300 a year using them.

We found a mini george forman grill it's big enough to cook two 1/2lb patties or any sort of steaks and even makes a great grill cheese sandwich. Dosn't pull too much off the inverter and has saved us a bundle when we go through a steak everyday phase. We found it at myers its small about 8" by 6" has a drip tray. We replaced the microve completly with it.

This will probably be a minute amount of saving, but every little bit helps. While driving with cruise control on, every time you want to kill the cruise you must tap the brakes. When you tap the brakes that probably scrubs off a minute amount of brake pad surface. To eliminate this, wire up a push button switch that you can press to activate the brake lights and it will also kill the cruise. Does any auto mechanic agree/disagree with the wiring? I have never done this but it seems like it will work.

Thanks. :+ :+

I have found with my Ford that the cruise will go off with a very slight touch of the pedal. The brake lights won't even go on, but the cruise will turn off.

In my Chev Cavalier and my wife's Mailbu Maxx you have to hit the brake hard enough so the brakes grab very slightly. The dealer's mechanic said that was normal.

Thanks. :+ :+

I'll add my vote to the ventilator fan as a cost savings. I went with the MaxxAir TurboMax. Reasons:fan is outside for low noise-Design of cover lets you use it even in the rain-thermostat lets you set it before you go to bed and then if you sleep late and the sun comes up it turns on and keeps you cool. Also if you have it running when you go to bed and it cools down durng the night it shuts off.Price is about the same as the Fantastic. Both are good investments.

When I am crossing into Windsor, if I get gas at the Ambassador Bridge you get a coupon for a free ham sandwich at the Border Break trailer outside of the Duty Free store. The fuel prices seem to be comparable to anywhere else and definitely cheaper than waiting to get into Canada.

Miromo? I love green peppers so I will try that. As for getting rid of the wife, people she makes more than me. Lucky me, so glad she married me and not you. I think she is to.

If your vehicle has a mechanical brake light switch, you can usually adjust it so that the lights come on with only a very slight movement of the pedal...though I'm not sure that the cruise release is activated by the brake light switch...I'll have to check my electrical prints...
