San Francisco.. A must do for us expediter types

Ok I was skeptical after all it is a island...
I got punked by Marda and Mary both of which drove semi's into the island and being the man I am told Cynthia to trudge forward.
Glad I did!
Stayed up 24+ to capture the flavor of the city and only scratched the surface.
I shot over 1000 pics in that short period and still have trouble finding 1 worthy of the city.
I fell in love with Boston for the people and character it exudes but am just as impressed with the face Frisco has to offer.
For the squeamish take the 280 north till it ends and stay on the outer perimeter and you will be fine, parking ranges from $11-$50 a night but well worth it.
We dined at a 4 star overlooking Seals, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate and enjoyed the best Clams, Wine and Linguine found anywhere for less than $80 including tip...
A mere pittance for a great restaurant.

i also went to san francisco a year ago, unfortunatly i raced in there and out, i see i am missing out on a lot of sights, maybe its time i slowed down and smelt the flowers..

See you've been to northern On. It's beautiful up there. Did you plan on going up there, or did you haul freight?

Yeah me too, we have been lucky this year with advance notice on some loads freeing up time to enjoy the country.
If you make it back that way it's a great way to kill a few days.

Ontario?
We have hauled freight to every place in the album with the exception of
Yellowstone and Zion National Forest (can't get a truck in there) although we have made it to the Tetons in Jackson Hole WY and you can get a rental car there albeit pretty expensive still makes for a cheap vacation.
If you get stranded around the area of Mesquite NV for a few days Zion is a great visit.
And of course my personal fav should you ever get say a Salt Lake City to Phoenix weekender is Page AZ and Glenn and Antelope Canyons..
