RV'ers and those with porta potties

We will also be dragging ours into the restroom to dump.
I wonder though how many more people are going to just use the parking lot?
I watched a guy yesterday morning dump a gallon jug in the grass at the TA.

Darn! My holding tank is to big to drag into the J's bathroom. Tried it once and it wasn't pretty. So much, to fast, hard to control once it started comming out. What a mess!

Guess you could really tell me that I'm full of crap, and get away with it! LOL

Streak,
I don't feel obligated to make sure things stay clean, as bad as it sounds.

The uncontrollable action of my little 7 gallon tank which is under pressure (not to mention the smell) can't be predicted which way it will go when released but counted on :p.

They (flying J) made a dumb move and because the bathrooms con't not cement basins where it can be rinsed down, I can't see the problem with the people who work there doing something other than complaining and acting important. I don't have a mop, bucket or bleach nor do I set their policy so all I can do is try to keep it clean while emptying my poop ;).

Keep in Mind Greg it is Pilot calling the shots now...

You'd think with their combined buying power they could demand better prices from wholesalers and give CDL holders a bit of a discount on what food supplies they do stock...

NO POOP in porta potty...MY first rule....no need what so ever for that...pure laziness...it is like what once a day..
plan better..and have a better plan..

Plan better?

You got to be sh*tting me? :p

You don't get high paying runs to the boonies where there isn't even a place to fuel, let alone a place to poop. Try finding a place in a truck to poop while in NYC, it's sometimes a pain to find a parking place so by the time you find one, you need to change your pants.

By the way it is $10 to unload at J, not $5. For someone like me who has 4 to 6 gallons to empty, that works out either from $2.50 a gallon to $1.66 a gallon which is a lot of profit for them.

A lot of us buy J food, buy J snacks and so on at high mark ups but not fuel, so the charge is a bit of a bunch of crap when you come down to it. We don't get points for buying high priced food and snacks, we are a trapped industry.

Thinking about it a bit more, why would they want to charge because it actually helps them keep the place cleaner.

I mean a lot of us Truck owners use their holes to empty more than just the poop, it smells like the truck parking areas seem to be a bit cleaner than with the places that actually are maintained.

It is like this, they don't charge to extra because they have to put in new pumps to fuel your van, do they?

If Pilot is calling it, then maybe we need to ask ourselves when will they start harmonizing the fuel cards and give the same points between the two brands. It would be helpful to also have people who do more than just take the money and complain about how hard they work.

I was told it actually $5 IF you use your reward card..they put a 5$ e-coupon on when you purchase one flush...

Doesn't matter anyway - $5 or $10, with what I have, it is easier to dump in the toilet and not have to clean up the mess.

Considering the big picture of the flush business..we are a speck on the map...those RV flushes I imagine they never had trucks in mind...most of us I ll presume have them small portables..that can emptied almost anywhere...rest area and such...that and an empty gallon for water to rinse out..a tad inconvenient for some that are too cheap to spend $5...on a luxury item.
