RJR Recruiter Passes Away

It's is with sadness that we make this post.

Paul Lane of RJR Transportation Services - Windsor Ontario passed away yesterday November 1, 2009.

Sorry to hear that Lawrence. Thanks for letting the people of EO know. I'm sure he was a great man and will be missed. My heart goes out to his Family.

Sad news indeed. I met Paul before on a couple different occasions. He wasn't that old of a guy--was surprised to hear about it. Thanks for letting us know.

Paul underwent gastric bypass surgery approx. 10 to 14 days prior. He developed complications including post operative pneumonia after surgery. These complications along with the surgery made for a rough recovery which was just to much. As you know we were leased to RJR and Paul was a long time employee and a very good person. Anyone who knew him would agree. I encourage all who knew him to follow the links lawrence has posted and sign the online guest book provided. All comments will let the family and especially Rachelle know how missed he will be.

This is sad news. Paul was a good guy. He's the only reason I gave RJR a try. He and Bob Westenburg are probably putting together a great expediting company up there. I hope they understand if it takes a while for me to sign on.
