I dont think so xiggy For those of US that put our time in and Retired we earned that Right to have it, Like the money it was part of the Deal and a Deal is a Deal.

When we lie to the GOVT its a Felony how ever when they Lie to US its called Politics.

They need Show some respect and HONOR what was signed A Deal is a DEAL.

Those that served know what it is! Dont side with the Half Witted in the end they will loose. Ever here of the walk of shame. Politicians Live it.

Not trying to be a rabble rouser or anything, but does this also apply to the public schools workers that got screwed in Michigan and other states over the last few years when they had their pensions slashed?

That is going to continue. Simply no money in a lot of these towns. In regards to this post, Congress should cut their pay, but thats not going to happen so the military will have to take some cuts regardless of what was promised.

If they had made real spending cuts of 1% across the board to everyone and everything, it would be more palatable. Instead they took the low hanging fruit. If the Military needed to have reductions in pay, they should have done it to people coming in now.

It is kinda funny that the cuts seem to always be made to things that people have EARNED. Why not cut things that are NOT earned first? Like welfare or maybe unemployment II? Don't tell me how "good" THOSE benefits are and how important they are to those who receive them and THEN say that benefits that were EARNED are not needed or important to those who EARNED them. Just wait, when the GIVE those people who invaded our country citizenship, they are going to GIVE them UNEARNED benefits. Like welfare, socials security etc.

Cut EVERYTHING that is not an EARNED benefit first, then start TAKING away EARNED benefits. Taking away EARNED benefits is theft, breech of contract etc.
