What was your great deal?

A 2006 Freightliner Columbia with an MBE 4000 for $28,000.
It had 618,000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has over 825,000. Bought it October of 2009.

What was the listed price before you haggled with them? It's not unheard of for them to have million milers priced above 20 grand.

I don't know. A friend of mine spotted the truck on there lot, checked it out, talked to the salesman, called me and told me how much I could buy it for. I called them, offered that amount, sent a deposit and flew up to get it.

bought last truck from stoops-never had a salesperson call me monthly to see how everything was going, he worked to get issues settled. After a year Jeff still works with us on issues, he has the contacts to get what needs to be done-very happy with stoops and Bolt custom trucks -don Bentz. Knoxville has started carrying Bolt sleepers.

Coming from the finance world, I knew what I was getting into with Bulldog, and why. They are not strictly "tote the note". Our truck, bought from them, was financed by a bank in Tennessee.

They are not for everyone, for sure, and definitely not for the un-savvy. They served a purpose for us. We knew going in that if something was presented that we couldn't or wouldn't swallow, we could easily walk away. We weren't desperate buyers.

thats how we feel, we were not desperate either they had a truck we liked turned out another guy was buying it and had to have by-pass and couldnt take the truck, plus its in ga where we live and didnt have to drive but 45 min from house to pu the truck, its solid and we havent had any complaints with it, it has a create motor in it. middle ga didnt have anything in stock that we wanted and didnt know when they would be getting anything in. thinking about going back to bulldog and buying a motorcycle and a pickup.
