86% Libertarian, 70% Republican.

So why should I vote for a Republican who is 50% Democrat?

Maybe because if you don't hold your nose and do it at the times when there is zero other viable alternative you're going to get a democrat who is 100% democrat. I know, here comes the usual baloney reply and the yada yada yada and the usual dance but the bottom line is that anyone with working gray matter knows absolutely whether there's any possibility of a third party winning in any important election so there's either multiple ways of voting for the worst choice or one way of voting for the bad choice. That's it. Period. When the good choice has a chance to win everyone will know that too and then you better believe the good choice gets the vote. I will potentially waste my vote when it may be a 52/48 loss but no way when you know at best it's going to be an 83/17 loss to the devil candidate. That's just stupid.
